He likes to look at the mirror on the play gym and smile at himself. He will even talk. He also likes to kick the ball on the gym.

Austin Curt Hudgins

Austin Curt Hudgins was born April 19th at 5:01 a.m. He weighed 6 lbs. 8 oz. and he was 19 inches long. So far I am enjoying motherhood and our new bundle of joy.

New House!

We finally found a new house! It is an inventory home so it is still new. They haven't done the landscaping yet, but that will be finished before we close at the end of the month. There are woods behind us and in front of us. Noone can ever build across from us because there is a creek there. The neighborhood has two pools, etc. and there is a wide mix of ages.
We have a lot of painting to do and we have to buy some new furniture. I can't wait to start the baby's room!

Updates on Oscar

I am now in week 19. We found out that we are expecting a boy!! Here are some of my favorite ultrasound pictures. Click on the pictures to see them larger.

Great News!

Jason and I sold our house and closed on it on August 31st. Some investors from Florida bought it and we are now renting our own house until we find a new house. We haven't been looking much lately.

Even more exciting news is that Jason and I are going to have a baby!!!! I will be in my 11th week tomorrow. The due date is April 30th. I can't wait to find out if it is a boy or girl. I only had 3 days of feeling nauseous, but didn't get sick. I guess I take after my mom who didn't get sick either.

I am still teaching 3rd grade. I have a new wonderful class. This year I got kicked out to the new mobile classrooms. We may be loosing some teachers because our numbers are too low. So the principal is asking for a third grade teacher to volunteer to go to 2nd grade. I am thinking about it, but I know it would be a big change, and I would have to start all over with another class. Sometime this coming up week I should know. If no none volunteers, he will just pick one of us.
